was based on two evaluation steps
Pre-selection – a group of 8 companies was pre-selected in the first part of competition out of open to cooperation companies taking part in BioForum B2B meetings.
The choice was founded on the following regulations operating in biotech, biomedical sector (biology, pharmacy, biochemistry), developing new services or products, originated in one of Central European countries, not a global company. The next step of additional list limitation to micro/small and young companies was lastly verified by the decision of the Commission and Organizer to come up with the chosen 8 companies: BioCentrum Sp. z o.o. (PL), BioInova, Ltd. (CZ), Celon Pharma (PL), Celther Polska Sp. z o.o. (PL), GeneSys Sp z o.o. (PL), LentiKats a.s. (CZ), Mabion SA (PL), Proteon Pharmaceuticals Sp. z o.o. (PL) The chosen companies were invited for interviews. · Final selection – face-to-face interviews with the Commission appointed final laureates. Meetings enclosed short company presentations by participants and following discussion.
The interviews regarded such issues as: market, competitiveness, finances, IP position, key dependencies, staff, product. CONTEST CONCLUSION The three distinguished companies have been awarded with a Consultation session with Deloitte and free exhibition stand at BioForum 2011. Contest Conclusion started at 4pm on 20th May in the main BioForum seminar room. |
