About Bio-Forum  III  and the Symposium

A Symposium: "Linking Polish Biotech to Uniting Europe"  organised during Bio-Forum III conference (May 20-21, 2002) was addressed first and foremost to young scientists and businessmen, who plan to start up their own biotech company and those who are already managing biotechnology companies,  Polish researchers conducting biotechnology R&D projects and European biotechnology community interested in cooperation with them.

The main aim was to get Polish participants of Bio-Forum III together  with foreign guests.

One of the objectives was to provide the most important information and contacts, which may have turned out beneficial, when starting-up and managing a biotech company in Poland with cooperation of foreign companies and institutions.

The main objectives of Bio-Forum III were:
- to get acquainted with interesting R&D projects
- to make a good connection with Polish biotechnology business and science
  people
- to learn about Polish biotechnology potential
- to discover new business opportunity for your company
- to build the bridge between West and Middle-East part of Europe in
  biotechnology activity

One of our main concerns was to create our participants many occasions to meet and discuss issues with each other as well as with the conference's Polish and foreign guests.

Thus, after each session we had planned "Face to face meetings".  During these meetings each speaker was asked to come to a specially reserved table in the  "meeting room" to be available for making first contacts with interested Bio-Forum participants.
